Multicultural "Positive Behaviour" Key Words & Phrases
Our Multicultural, translated "Positive Behaviour" Key Words & Phrases Poster series is a visual series of key words that help Educators support, guide and redirect children with challenging behaviours in their child care and classroom settings.
The Poster Set is divided into 5 Key Areas, with between 6-10 key word posters posters in each area. Areas include:
- Listening (eg. Let's Stop, Let's Wait, Come Here Please)
- Feelings ( eg. How Are You Feeling? Happy, Sad, Angry)
- Encouragement (Great Job, Well Done, Great Try, You Did It, I'm Proud Of You)
- Calming Down Together (Take A Deep Breath, Would You Like To Go To The Calm Corner?)
- Safe Bodies (Gentle Hands, Walking Feet, Quiet Voices, Kind Hands, We Keep Our Friends Safe).
One of the biggest barriers for children who are learning English is that they often don't understand the language educators use to guide behaviour. A child who appears "challenging" may simply not understand the expectations being communicated.
Our "Positive Behaviour" key Words & Phrases are translated in Arabic, Mandarin, Hindi & Vietnamese.
